2. Data we process and purposes
- Contact and professional profile information provided in enquiries (full name, email address, telephone number, company, profile and course of interest), to deal with requests for information or enrolment and follow them up.
- Academic and administrative data relating to enrolled learners (identification, virtual campus access and activity data, assessment results and certificates), to provide training, support learning and issue certificates.
- For company-organised training, the identification and training activity data needed to manage funding through FUNDAE and Spain’s State Public Employment Service, and for monitoring and checks by the competent authorities.
- Communications about new training opportunities and legal developments, only with the data subject’s consent.
The form shows whether sending is available. Details are validated to prepare or process the enquiry. In preparation mode, no emails are sent and the request is not retained. When sending is available, the details are used to send the enquiry to IEES and an acknowledgement to the enquirer.
3. Lawful basis
- Taking pre-contractual steps and performing the training contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Compliance with legal obligations relating to vocational training for employment, taxation and accounting (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- The data subject’s consent to commercial communications (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- IEES’s legitimate interest in following up the requests it receives (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Recipients
- FUNDAE and the competent labour and employment authorities, for funded training.
- Tax authorities and banks, for invoicing and payment collection.
- Service providers acting as data processors, such as web hosting, the virtual campus, email and management tool providers.
If a provider transfers data internationally outside the European Economic Area, the applicable safeguards under Chapter V of the GDPR must be in place.
5. Retention
Information requests are retained for a maximum of two years from the last contact. Learner data is retained throughout the training relationship and for the limitation periods for the resulting obligations (generally up to six years for commercial purposes and four years for tax purposes). Documentation for funded training is retained for the periods required by vocational training for employment legislation (generally four years).
6. Rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to Instituto Europeo De Estudios Superiores Agora Sl at the email address info@iees.es, providing proof of your identity. You may withdraw consent at any time and lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
7. Sources of data and minors
We only process data supplied by the data subject or, for company training, by the organisation arranging training for its employees. IEES services are intended for adults.
8. Technologies used on the public website
When you prepare an enquiry, your browser may retain the need or case described, the course, your interest in FUNDAE and the browsing context for 30 minutes. This allows you to go back, make corrections and continue through the website’s links; it does not copy the form’s name or email fields. This context remains in your browser and is included in the message only when you decide to send it.
The public website does not use third-party analytics or advertising. The Cookie and Storage Policy explains the browser’s technical mechanisms, their purposes, retention periods and controls.
